According to John Fetse, an assistant professor of pharmaceutical sciences at Binghamton University's School of Pharmacy, the excitement has outrun the evidence. He researches peptide therapeutics for cancer, brain disorders, and inflammation, and says there's no real proof these compounds can reshape a face at all.
What Peptides Actually Are
Peptides are short chains of amino acids, essentially miniature proteins, and insulin is one of the oldest examples.
